Did you know that the new washing machine you are currently considering may be eligible for a rebate? Residents of Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District 151 (FBCMUD 151) are eligible to participate in a rebate program through the North Fort Bend Water Authority’s (NFBWA) “Larry’s Toolbox” Program.

Rebates are available for Firethorne residents with water-efficient toilets, showerheads, faucets, aerators, clothes washers, dishwashers, water heaters, rain sensor sprinklers, sprinkler bodies and nozzles and weather-board irrigation controllers.

To obtain a rebate of up to $300, residents must complete and submit a rebate form that includes a dated receipt less than 90 days old; a photograph of the product’s box showing that it contains a WaterSense or ENERGYSTAR logo; a copy of any installation receipts (if applicable) and a photograph of the installed equipment.
